My client, an innovative medical device company in St. Paul, MN is now hiring for a quality engineer to support key quality processes as well as working on process improvement. This role will be structured as a 9-month contract and will require the contractor to be onsite. This position will pay between $30-$45/hour based on previous experience.

Among others, the quality engineer will have the following responsibilities: Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating optimal, cost-effective projects and technologies. Works on process improvement projects to improve floor efficiency. Manages all non-conformances, CAPA's, and investigations to help with anything that is defective on the floor. Responsible for authoring and reviewing validations-IQ, OQ, PQ.

The most desirable candidates will possess the following qualifications: 3+ years working in the medical device industry Experience authoring validations Experience managing quality processes such as non-conformances, CAPA's, and root cause investigations The ability to work cross-functionally and communicate well with others
