Individual will work as part of a team to complete basic end to end software engineering tasks. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities- Perform basic analysis, development, testing, debugging, configuration, incident investigation, documentation, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on and related to user or system design specifications.
- Work within guidelines set by team to independently tackle well-scoped problems.
- Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in work experience.
- Two years of programming/development experience preferred.
- Technical knowledge of .NET, SQL, Crystal Reports, Auto-Sys, PowerShell, Windows Server OS, Active Directory, FileNet.
- Preferred experience with production support.
- Preferred experience with scripting and scheduling tools.
- Preferred experience with ETL tools.
- Preferred knowledge of different operating systems.
- Preferred knowledge of Accounting and Reconciliation functions.
- Preferred knowledge of Frontier vendor application.
- Responsibilities include performing analysis, design, programming and configuration functions (includes defining technical requirements) with a very high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Performs analysis, assessment and resolution for defects and incidents of intermediate complexity and escalates appropriately.
- Install and configure vendor applications for business users, including setup of related infrastructure and troubleshooting/resolution of all issues.
- Research required processes and initiate requests for changes related to setup and maintenance of vendor application environments.
- Provide production support to business users, including necessary follow-through to prevent problem recurrence.
- Assist business users with technical challenges, including vendor application configuration details, data reporting, and process automation.
- Fulfill requests made by other internal technology teams to maintain compliance of application environments with internal/external policies.
- Builds effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Utilizes business knowledge to explain technical activities in business terms.
- Perform basic project management responsibilities.
- Perform basic business analysis and support of data flow.
- Have ability to coordinate team resources to solve problems.
- Applies knowledge of current industry trends and techniques to formulate solutions within the context of assigned projects.
- Delivery - Developing delivery skills including the ability to participate in team planning, learn to estimate work efforts, assist in the application of designated software design strategy and methodology, test work following relevant examples including automation, take ownership of work after release, quickly addressing issues as they arise and collect and incorporate feedback throughout the process.
