A public sector client of ours is looking for Web Focus Developer. This is going to be a long term opportunity based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Required Skills:- Five (5) years’ experience designing and developing business intelligence reporting systems in a data warehousing environment using star schemas, data cubes, and data marts.
- Five (5) years’ experience developing web applications and reporting systems with the WebFOCUS Business Intelligence and Analytics Platform including WebFOCUS 8 experience.
- Two (2) years’ experience designing and developing mobile-first reporting systems with emphasis on responsive design and performance optimization.
- Experience in Website Design/Development role
- Have extensive experience with WebFOCUS and other Business Intelligence tools
- Have senior level skills in the WebFOCUS development environment
- Experience installing, configuring, and administering WebFOCUS server
- Experience in creating accessible work product, specifically in conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.
- Experience in Website Design/Development role
- Proven work experience as a web designer/developer
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQueryand API's
- Experience working in an iterative development process
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
- Knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services
- Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications
- Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
- Experience with Web User Interface Design
