Working directly as a community support specialist, you will create lasting positive relationships whilecoaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals. As a community support specialist you will beassistingindividuals one on one who live in their own homes independentlyas you support them in leading happy and healthy lives. In this role youwill provide support to individuals with a variety of activities, including daily living skills, money management, appointments, community integration, cooking skills, goal achievement and following their support plans.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Current auto liability insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Acceptable criminal record
- This employee should have the ability to use good judgment, follow protocols, work independently, show initiative, problem solve, have a flexible attitude, have fun and enjoy the person they serve.
- Experience with administrative duties and the ability to complete paperwork on time and accurately preferred.
