Park Terrace Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a flexible, compassionate individual to join our caring team as a Part-Time Care Attendant. In this role, you will help maintain the highest standards in delivering nursing services to our residents. This is a Part-Time position working various weekdays and every other holiday. Hours: 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
Care Attendant responsibilities:
Interact with residents and provide assistance with personal care and activities of daily living.
Assist residents with personal care activities which may include the following: eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and helping with skin care.
Collaborate with coworkers to maintain the highest level of resident care.
Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning laundry, making beds, and helping with general cleaning.
Support the mission and values of Elim Care.
Perform other duties as requested.
Care Attendant skills and qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
Desire to create relationships with residents and staff.
Strive to serve in the Mission of Elim Care.
Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
Previous care experience preferred but not required.
Able to maintain confidential information.
