Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing the appointment room prior to a patients visit
Making patients comfortable until the orthodontist arrives
Reviewing patient's oral health history
Taking x-rays and photographs
Making tooth impressions that are used to design orthodontic hardware
Sterilizing the equipment
Preparing the tools necessary for each appointment and assist the orthodontist during the examination and treatment
Performing administrative duties such as: setting appointments, billing, taking payments and maintaining patient records
Providing excellent customer service skills
Ordering Orthodontic supplies
Registered Dental Assistant Licensure is required
