Anderson Underground, Inc. is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. We are currently accepting applications for Equipment Operators for the 2019 Construction Season. Employees are paid weekly, and eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package.

Anderson Underground, Inc., established in 2004, is an underground utility contractor located in Sauk Rapids, MN. Our activities include a wide range of underground utility construction services including directional boring, cable/duct plowing, trenching/rock sawing, cable pulling/blowing, and cable splicing.
Position
We are looking for Underground Utility Equipment Operators who enjoy steady work with overtime pay as required. These candidates are self-motivated, committed to safety, and dedicated to supporting a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Experience with and ability to demonstrate PROFICIENCY in safely operating at least one of the following: back hoe, directional boring machine, directional boring locator, cable plow, winch cat, cleanup dozer, or related
Ability to operate safely around other underground utilities such as electric and gas
Grease, oil and daily maintenance of equipment
Knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations
Ability to follow oral and written instruction
Perform tasks under the Underground Utility Laborer position
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers License with satisfactory record
Valid DOT Health Card
Overnight travel is required on a weekly and/or 10-day rotation basis
Willing to work overtime as required
Knowledge of OSHA Safety Guidelines and Practices
Preferred Skills
Previous utility construction experience
Class A CDL (Higher wage offered to CDL holders)
Physical Demands
Must be physically able to endure the daily activity involved with the job
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
