Willmar Electric Service (WES) is accepting applications for an Electrician Apprentice in the Buffalo, MN area.
Job Summary:
An electrical apprentice installs, upgrades, renovates and completes other assigned electrical duties to produce the product requested by an owner or general contractor and under direction from a licensed Journeyman.
Essential Functions:
Installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
Measure, cut and bend conduit.
Trace out short circuits in wiring.
Make minor electrical repairs.
Maintain tools and equipment.
Work with the Foreman to set daily goals.
Performs work in accordance with the National Electrical Code in a workmanlike manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Hold and maintain the state apprentice license.
Have OSHA10 hour before beginning work on a site or the pre-fabrication workshop.
High school diploma or GED.
Attend continuing education classes to maintain apprentice license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Enrollment in/completion of an electrical trade school program.
Knowledge of hand/power tools, how to rad meters and reading (understanding of) blueprints.
