Job Description
Car Carrier and Truck Wash Company in 50th year of business is looking for a friendly and hardworking Diesel Mechanic to add to their team!
Diesel Mechanic duties:
-Ability to work independently or with other mechanics
-Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment
-Communicate with drivers and dispatch regarding operating problems and mechanical repairs
-MN CMV inspector certification required OR the ability to obtain said license
-Class A commercial license OR ability to obtain
-help maintain an effective and clean work environment
-must have own tools or ability to obtain own tools
-welding experience is a plus but NOT required
-working hours are M-F 8AM to 4:30PM
-Tractor/trailer maintenance which includes:
Brake systems inspections/repairs, diesel engine repair, trouble shooting skills, fleet maintenance record keeping, hydraulics maintenance and repair, order of inventory and supplies, welding, etc
Diesel Mechanic work environment:
Four bay facility
Full service wash bay
Mig welders
Portable lifts
Diesel Mechanic Salary:
Competitive pay! negotiable based on work experience and work history
