Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced truck driver to deliver bulk petroleum and/or liquid petroleum products in a safe, efficient and timely manner in the tri-state area and into Canada.
Responsibilities
- Inspect Commercial Motor Vehicle mechanical items for safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Document work/rest periods, miles spent driving and retain fuel receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations
- Use electronic devices to obtain load information and delivery instructions
Requirements
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly (home most nights)
- Class "A" driver's license and a clean driving record
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
- Authorized to travel to Canada
- Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
- Must have (or obtain) Tanker endorsement
- HazMat endorsement preferred but not required
