Transformation Architect – Physician RCM Services Overview of Position Senior level architects communicate new transformational solutions that produce change to current operational processes specific to physician revenue cycle management services. At the same time, they act as a conduit back to the development team to refine solutions. This communication process requires the ability to translate business requests to technical requirements, specifications, and speak the language of the core system that is being enhanced with internal and external (offshore vendors) users. Additionally, these architects are responsible for communicating with the mid-level to senior leadership of their respective areas, demonstrating new capabilities, training on new processes, and gaining approval for new policies and procedures.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Leads Physician RCM process innovation and design, including standardization of best practices, playbook development and change management (i.e. adoption and adherence); partner with other Transformation Architects to promote and maximize process standardization across all Physician Services specialties and operating sites; provide expertise across simple to extremely complex business solutions.

Provides expertise with the compilation of the Business Requirements Documentation and conveyance of those requirements to the development team.

Participates in proof of concept or demo’s related to specialty area and provide feedback on any gaps or missed requirements for team review and disposition

Partners with the PMO and Change Control Team to confirm all critical tollgates have been met for go-live signoff. This will include making sure a checklist for Solution launch is completed.

Assists in the tracking and compliance of the various clients to ensure successful deploy to all clients that are within scope.

What are the requirements needed for this position?Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in physician revenue cycle management

7+ years expertise in physician revenue cycle management and the legacy system(s) that are associated with processing the transactions they are transforming i.e. MD4, MMIS, GFS, etc.

5+ years of experience working on revenue cycle process improvement projects

Experience reviewing findings, providing data, proving remediation of gaps and assisting leadership in learning new ways to manage using evidence-based techniques

Experience ensuring solution testing, deployment and post deployment monitoring are done within required timelines

Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related field

Strong analytical skills specifically including slicing/dicing data and analyzing the data to see what insights can be obtained and utilized to help either increase revenue or decrease expenses

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Lean Six Sigma certifications would be helpful

Project Management certifications would be helpful

Experience with various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems would be helpful

Highly organized to ensure efficient completion of tasks

Strong communication skills and ability to translate project messaging dependent upon the audience

Strong presentation skills to formulate and present solution details, timelines, and expected outcomes

Strong collaboration abilities to work with the pool of architects along with developers and leadership to address areas of abrasion and promote innovation
