This may include working as a business process analyst, business systems analyst, or business intelligence analyst.• One (1) year of experience working with network operations and/or technical support teams.• Three (3) years of experience working in an Agile environment.Desired Qualifications• Experience working in an environment with strict regulatory, security, and compliance requirements such as Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice systems• Proficient with or able to quickly learn systems, software, methodologies, and processes used by the organization, for example scrum, Kanban, Jira, project management, etc.• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills in problem definition, information gathering and research, and in alternatives analysis• Conceptual thinking; able to see a problem from different perspectives, apply creative solutions to unique or immediate problems, and recommend viable solutions.• Ability to communicate clearly, present complex information to users in a comprehensive style, and translate technical and system information for non-technical stakeholders.• Ability to collaborate, work effectively as part of a team and maintain working relationships with all levels of business customers and technology staff.• Demonstrated leadership skills including mentoring and coaching experience that enables learning and change to take place.• Advanced facilitation skills that demonstrate preparedness, flexibility, active listening, time management, and the ability to negotiate.Tasks• Be the primary liaison between the business, technical, and application development teams.• Proactively evaluate new technologies and participate in decision making regarding solving future technical issues and long-term technical direction.• Decompose high-level technical, business, and user requirements into functional requirements specifying an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those that must base their work on the requirements.• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.• Perform requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.• Write requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely. This position may at times be assigned to work on initiatives in support of our application development teams such as adding new product capabilities, enhancing product features, researching production issues, or other assignments as needed.
