DescriptionIn this position, you will be working with others to develop new products and options that will delight both our internal and external customers. You will operate within Marvin’s team-based environment that fosters an entrepreneurial culture similar to a small startup company. Your key to success at Marvin will be your ability to successfully learn how to develop solutions for assigned tasks.Highlights of your role
Desire and ability to learn how to create innovative designs that meet the needs of the project
Ability to use problem-solving skills to create solutions
Ability to collaborate and work with others well
Experience designing products preferred
A hands-on background in the building and testing of products a plus
Experience designing injection molded, aluminum and plastic extrusion, metal stampings, hardware, and mechanical systems preferred
Develop design testing plans and execute
Develop proper documentation and specifications of designs
Work with external suppliers to ensure component capability
You're a good fit if you have
Pursuing a technical degree in Engineering, Science, Design, Drafting or related technical degree/experience
Experience/training in the use of both 2D Auto-cad and 3D solid modelling software preferred
A driven person who wants to learn and get assignment completed in a timely fashion
