DC MAINTENANCE GENERAL FOREMANHOURS:1ST SHIFT, flexible as needed or required
Saturday as needed or required
DUTIES:Responsible for overseeing the DCmaintenance operations on both shifts
Supervise, evaluate and direct maintenance personnel on both shifts in performing operations according to policies and procedures
Stimulate & Ensure a safe work environment for the department by following established safety policies and procedures and working with safety department to correct any deficiencies.
Train and develop supervisors to provide management depth and develop team work to attain department objectives.
Maintain and track yields for the DC maintenance departments
Maintain good employee relations and adherence to labor contract provisions.
Work closely with other supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in the department
Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production.
Attend meetings as scheduled and called
Reports to Jeff Buysman & Bart Collin
Perform other duties as needed or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:College degree preferred but not required
Must have extensive knowledge of the Maintenance operation and the industry
Technical training and certifications preferred but not required
Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of maintenance jobs
Must be people oriented; be able to understand employees needs and good motivator and be able to teach new skills employees
Understand and comply with Company policy and procedures
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational, math and statistical skills
Good work history and attendance
Team Player with leadership skills
