Kitchen Staff
Barefoot Billy's is searching for cooks to join our kitchen staff. A good attitude and work ethic is required, experience is required. This is a full time position.
Must be at least 21 yrs old
Strong communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Great personality, with a positive outlook
Culinary school background a plus but not necessary
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English a must
Able to work up to ten hour-plus shifts plus ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
Able to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. as needed
Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc.
Able to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area
Must be able to work in fast paced environment, multitasking, team oriented, and hands on
Must possess hearing, visual and sensory abilities to observe and detect emergency situations; also of distinguish product, taste, texture, temperature and presentation and preparation of food
Cooks and otherwise prepares foods according to recipes and directions
Duties include, food prep, plating and cooking in a fast paced breakfast/lunch/Dinner type environment
Sweep and mop floors and maintain a clean work station
Must be on time and reliable with a good work ethic
Safeserv Certificate is a plus
Must pass a background check
Must possess a valid MS driver's license
Must be able to work in the US legally
Random drug testing is conducted on all employees
