Applications submitted prior to the deadline of July 26th, 2024 will be given primary consideration.Job Summary Prepares, develops and analyzes university related statistical data concerning students, faculty and university matters from internal and external sources. Responsible for reporting statistical data internally and externally. Contribute to the maintenance of faculty and student data warehouses.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Performs data analysis for internal and external clients using university data; create ad hoc reports and queries upon request and respond to routine requests and questions.
Contribute to the maintenance of data warehouses. Verifies data and performs follow-up corrections on data submitted electronically including but not limited to personnel, student, registration, enrollment, and graduation data files.
Serve as primary tester when development changes or upgrades occur to HelioCampus dashboards. Coordinate regular training sessions for HelioCampus dashboards.
Responsible for reporting official data to the Board of Trustees for Institutions of Higher Learning for the State of Mississippi (IHL) and the Federal Government (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System - IPEDS).
Serve as point of contact for technical needs of office. Maintain and update nightly scheduled processes in Peoplesoft along with serving as primary tester when development changes or upgrades occur.
Support the Director for Institutional Research in handling requests for information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in data science, computer programming or related field; Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to be technically proficient and accurate
Ability to use Oracle Peoplesoft, SQL and Oracle Developer
Ability to use Microsoft Office
Demonstrates the ability to deliver accurate, concise and quality communication (verbal and written) in a timely manner and provide quality feedback
