Responder Training Services (RTS) is recruiting 90+ individuals to participate in pre-deployment cultural immersion training for the U.S. National Guard at Camp Shelby from July 27-August 20th. (These are temporary positions.)
Individuals may be selected for either as a Civilian-on-the-Battlefield role or a Battlefield Effects Technician operating non-pyrotechnic devices simulating battlefield effects. (All technicians will undergo training. No prior experience needed.) Call time may be as early as 5:00 a.m. (or earlier) every day, including Sundays, with no guarantee of work every day. Proximity to the training location should be no more than 1 hour drive time due to possible last minute need notifications. You must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid drivers license and High School diploma or GED, can take direction, and be physically able to lift 25+ lbs. and withstand rigorous 8+ hour days outdoors to be eligible. Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. is required. E-Verify and comprehensive background checks will be performed on all.
