White Oak Transportation is looking for a self-motivated, goal oriented professional with excellent communication and problem solving abilities to join our team as a Dispatcher/Account Manager for our Jackson, MS terminal. This person will work one on one with drivers, freight coordinators and our dedicated customer on a daily basis to ensure all parties are successful in meeting the established goals. The main responsibilities of a Dispatcher/Account Manager include but are not limited to:
Manage/dispatch a fleet of 10 professional drivers on a daily basis.
Recognize potential and current issues while brainstorming for possible solutions.
Effectively communicate with our dedicated customer on a real time basis.
Preparing paperwork for departing drivers.
Manage Driver departures.
Load/Date entry.
Assisting drivers with any breakdown/maintenance issues.
Coordinate with White Oak maintenance department on all equipment services.
Truck/trailer tracking
Time Management
Fielding after hours calls.
White Oak Transportation requires all candidates to have a minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent. Working knowledge of MS Office is also required.
