Dental Lifeline Network (DLN) is a national charitable organization whose mission is to improve the oral health of people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile and have no other way to get help. DLN accomplishes its mission by developing and coordinating collaborative relationships that provide essential resources for direct-service programs, especially charitable care.
DLN is seeking applicants for a part-time (26 hours/week) Donated Dental Services (DDS) Coordinator to join a high performing team and work out of our office located at the Mississippi Dental Association Office located in Flowood. This position will provide case management for individuals who are disabled, elderly, or medically fragile, and cannot afford or access comprehensive dental treatment for severe dental problems. This is an entirely office and phone-based position.
A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or other human services field, and 2 years of experience working with an elderly, disabled or medically fragile population, preferably in a social services setting is preferred. The successful candidate will also have patience and compassion with less fortunate persons, excellent written and oral communication skills, a high degree of organization and the ability to use diplomacy and positive interpersonal relations at all times. The successful candidate will thrive in an environment focused on changing and transforming the lives of people with special needs.
