Position: PACS Synapse Engineer

Location: Jackson Mississippi 39216

Duration: 6+ Months

Job DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities · Works with helpdesk team to resolve reported Synapse product related issues· Work with site’s IT and/or helpdesk team to troubleshoot modality send/QR/worklist related issues· Perform Windows update during pre-defined monthly maintenance window (typically around 2AM)· Coordinate, create, and potential run various meetings (scheduled & ad hoc) for site’s implemented Synapse products· Work with the Fuji Technical Assistance Center (TAC) when issues need to be escalated· Work with Fuji Clinical Consultant to help resolve workflow related issues· Work through issues identified by client’s Active Monitoring solution.· Work with Fuji Upgrade Engineers to help plan and facilitate Synapse Upgrades· Work with Fuji Project Managers & Fuji Project Engineers to help plan and facilitate Synapse related projects· Potentially provision and deploy Virtual Machines (VMs) related to Fuji products· Ensure all Fuji Virtual Machines (VMs) are managed within Fuji Automate· Ensure site access records and connection information are kept up to date· Configure and maintain Synapse reporting, as needed per site requests· Generate Monthly Business Report· Works cross-functionally as required and handles other duties as assigned· Adheres to the Company's quality and regulatory compliance requirements, without exception, and ensures that all job duties inherent in the position description are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.· Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications · Minimum of 7 years of industry related professional experience.· Working knowledge of implemented Synapse application(s).· Working knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10, Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022+).· Working knowledge of current network technologies and troubleshooting.· Superior communication and interpersonal skills, excellent phone manner.· Ability to make independent decisions based on interpretation of technology data and product knowledge.· Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Preferred Skills · Advanced knowledge of implemented Synapse application(s).· Advanced knowledge of Synapse workflows and their implementations.· Advanced knowledge of current network technologies and troubleshooting.· Advanced knowledge of medical informatics hardware (VMWare and Storage Solutions)· Advanced knowledge with clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces (HL7 and DICOM)· Advanced knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10, Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022+).· Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and/or PowerShell Scripting· Industry-specific certifications in relevant technical background (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco certifications)· Security Certifications (Security + or the equivalent)
