Dispatch Center Hours are Monday-Friday, 3:00 am–6:00 pm; Saturday, 3:00 am–2:00 pm CT. When not working full time shift, will be on call during Dispatch Center hours.Location: Position is remote; however, must reside within, approximately, 50 miles from a WM hauling site.Travel: Must be willing to travel, as needed, for training, etc.I. Job SummarySupervises daily dispatch and routing operations for the Gulf Coast Market Area, including 28 sites in AL, LA, MS, and FL Pan Handle.II. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Oversees daily activities of the dispatch department, ensuring productivity and quality goals are met.

Coordinates resolution of service orders and customer service issues.

Manages live dispatch as well as GPS and MAS data input.

Supervises processing of all paperwork, including billing backlog.

Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures and develops and implements safety briefings.

Coordinates container tracking, container placement, and driver safety.

Compiles and analyzes maintenance reports.

Coordinates schedules and monitors performance of staff and arranges for training as needed.

Oversees personnel needs of the department including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.

III. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThe highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of non-supervisory employees. This includes:

Direct supervision of 15-20 full-time employees, including: Remote Dispatchers and Routers

IV. QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Must live and work in the U.S.A. Education and Experience

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. (accredited).

Experience: Four (4) years of previous experience (in addition to education requirements).

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Dispatching and driver management and general supervisory skills required.

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000.
