For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Bench Design and Development Tech (Level 5) that contributes to a team of engineers that develop custom electronics for use in avionics integration and testing laboratories. The Core Development Team is located in Saint Louis, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.Are you ready to use your analytical and problem solving skills for bench design and development? The Core Development team will challenge you with opportunities to grow and grow your skill set.Position Responsibilities:Analyze customer and system requirements to design and develop test benches, consoles, and racks

Develop electrical and mechanical designs of various chassis, harnesses and panels for test consoles and racks

Validate designs through various methods of review, test and analysis.

Install internal harness wiring

Design and develop Power Distribution Units (PDU)

Perform bench assembly and support

Support fabrication in the design and build of bench components

Order and track parts

Engage with suppliers

Provide system integration support

Work under general direction

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Export Control:This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):Aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevOps

Comprehensive understanding of circuit design

5 or more years of engineering experience

Typical Education:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+7 years' related work experience, 11 years' related work experience, etc.)Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
