Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is recruiting for a Mid-Level Test and Evaluation Lab Technician to join the Earth Environmental Lab Operations team in Berkeley, MO. In this role, the selected candidate will assist in the instrumentation of test articles, organization of labs, and help manage and execute the testing plans and procedures.The Earth Environmental Lab Operations team comprises of various labs. The candidate technician’s responsibilities will include assisting in the following areas:Aircraft Sub-System Testing (Environmental Control Systems, and Fuel Systems)

Dynamics (Fixed base vibration testing and Ground Based Vibration Testing)

Thermal Testing (Environmental Chamber operation and test setup)

This position will be primarily 1st shift; however, this position will support remote test operation and approximately 10% travel may be required to support program objectives.Position Responsibilities:Supports activities to plan, conduct, and document tests on products and systems

Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems

Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities

Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down

Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results

Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems

Manages test equipment calibration cycles

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Associates degree or higher

3+ years of experience with electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience working with aircraft systems and subsystems

Experience with instrumentation and/or data acquisition systems

Experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, executing tests, analyzing results, and/or creating test reports

Experience with coordinating other lab activities such as Safety Focal, Material Management, Management of calibrated test equipment, Maintenance and Repair of test hardware

Experience participating in Test Article Design and Safety reviews

Experience in test software design such as National Instruments LabView

Experience with Microsoft Excel skills

Familiarity with Video System, including High Speed Video

Typical Education/Experience:AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
