Kelly Technology has an opening for a PERM IT Architect to work with our client in Bridgeton, MO.

Hybrid Schedule: on site 2 days

SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an IT Architect . This role will guide the API/Integrations team to achieve technical goals or solutions. Their target architecture will support continuous improvement and automation. The architect's technical guidance will help to ensure that delivered software is maintainable, reliable, secure, and performant. The architect will define the technical vision and standards for user platforms and development pipelines. The product domain consists of custom web applications using multiple API endpoints for external and internal users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Define architecture principles and guidelines.
  • Define and maintain design standards.
  • Define and maintain coding standards.
  • Define the team's technical roadmap.
  • Develop and communicate a vision for platform architecture.
  • Develop and communicate a vision for delivery pipeline automation architecture.
  • Create application and delivery pipeline automation designs and review designs created by others.
  • Write code, as necessary, to prove concepts or to jumpstart patterns.
  • Research and vet tools and technologies that may be useful for the team.
  • Present new technical knowledge to the team.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • 10+ years in software development
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design and coding
  • Proficiency in expressing software design
  • Proficiency in the use of design patterns
  • Proficiency in service-oriented architecture
  • Proficiency in web service design
  • Proficiency in inter-service communication protocols
  • Proficiency in some, and knowledge for most of:
  • SQL 2008+, relational database design, stored procedures
  • C#, ASP.NET development
  • HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, jQuery, PHP, AJAX
  • Docker
  • RabbitMQ or similar message queue
  • Proficiency of REST architectural style
  • Knowledge of Agile and Continuous Delivery
  • Strong interest in emerging web technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
