IT Service Desk Support SpecialistCarthage, MO6 month contract to hirePay Range: $20.00 - $25.00per hrJob Description:Our large enterprise client is looking for an immediate, long-term, Desktop Support Specialist to assist in all things Tier 1 and Tier 2 Windows Desktop Support issues. In this position you will be working on either an 8:00am - 5:00pm shift OR an 11:00am 9:00pm CST shift in order to support their operations team globally. Because this work will be done on-site - it is highly preferred that you be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.Required Skills:- 2+ years advanced troubleshooting of desktop OS and application issues
- Ability to install and manage Windows and Mac systems and software
- Troubleshooting a broad range of PC Hardware and software issues for Windows and MacOS
- Advanced help desk skills and experience
- Working knowledge of wireless/wired networks including hardware and administration
- Experience with printer installation and maintenance
- Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills and a friendly personality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under limited supervision
- Must have integrity and be responsible with company resources
- Asset management and strong organizational skills
- Experience with Active Directory administration and other MS technologies
- Experience with Cisco phone systems a plus
- IT certifications a plus (i.e. A+, N+, CCNA, Microsoft, etc
- IT-related 4-year college degree
