Senior Network Engineer

The Sr. Engineer role is principally responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and supporting multi-tenant, scalable network solutions. The successful candidate is an IT detail oriented with hands-on experience with a broad range of hardware and software, including routing, switching, security, SDWan and load balancing. In addition to superb technical skills, the candidate must have a strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills. We are looking for a driven, self-motivated individual who can meet deliverables with minimal direction or oversight. Technical certifications and advanced knowledge of Cisco ACI, NX-OS, and IOS are a must. The candidate also must be able to complete certifications and train on solutions from leading networking vendors, including F5, Fortinet, Riverbed, Arista, Juniper and others.Some of the exciting work you will encounter: The successful candidate will provide technical consulting services for Information Technology security projects Perform post sales activities conducive to building a networking practice. Support Pre-Sales in scoping and pricing implement Ability to deliver Infrastructure as Code solutions using Perl, Python, etc. Complete project work on schedule and conforming to InterVision’s standard project methodology. Architectural design, development, and implementation of network solutions from multiple vendors in the following areas: Routing, switching, and network security Ability to design and execute project plans for system builds, migrations, integrations, and customization while accounting for risk and forecasting technical issues. The successful candidate will need to develop and execute detailed implementation plans to ensure smooth and effective migrations to new technology and new versions of existing technology. This position will occasionally be a customer facing. Thus, the candidate must have the communication skills, technical skills, and integrity to work with the Customer to design security solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations. Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience designing and installing complex network systems Experienced automating implementations, configuration, and management Extensive knowledge of routing, switching, load balancing, network security solutions Experience configuring, installing, upgrading, testing, and troubleshooting large-scale network environments Technical certifications, experienced and advanced knowledge in multiple network technologies: Cisco/FirePower, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Aruba, or other leading networking vendors. Experience with F5, Riverbed, Aruba and VMware solutions is a big plus Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills Cisco CCNP certification or higher required, CCNP-Cloud strongly preferred CCNA, CCIE, CISSP, CISA, Checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Aruba, Fortinet, and Microsoft a plus.Some of the excitingTechnology doesn't change the world.
