Location: Creve Coeur, MO Description: 6+ Month W2 Contract
Hourly Rate: $17 - $19As a IT Support Technician, you'll provide technical support and assistance on the phone, or remotely, related to computer systems, hardware, and software. A help desk technician responds to customer queries to provide technical assistance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via the phone or email
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and / or software issues
- Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Provide needed information on IT products or services
- Keep record of problems and their resolution
- Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
- Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
- Suggest improvements on procedures
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 3 years of IT Help Desk experience required
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting Windows 7 & 10 operating systems
- 3 years of experience with MS Office Applications and hardware platforms
