Job Summary As an Agile Coach for Application Services' Agile Software Delivery Team, you will commit to helping software delivery teams deliver the right outcomes at the right time by educating and coaching teams and leaders to follow our Delivery Principles and Customer Interface. It is the Agile Coaching Practice's primary responsibility to help teams understand our organization's standards and coach teams in continuous improvement. The Agile Coach provides expert guidance and guardrails to teams and their leadership on how to deliver software most effectively in context with the goals of our organization. We guide our teams to strive for customer delight through stable delivery of value. Agile Coaches report to the Agile Coaching Managers, and measure progress and success through team metrics, surveys, and feedback about our services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Strategize, plan, and facilitate effective team events (multi-day project kickoffs, trainings, planning, retrospectives, etc.)
  • Ensure the successful start-up of projects by collaborating with sales, customers and teams to plan and deliver effective project kickoffs
  • Coach individuals and teams in areas of professional development such as conflict dynamics, consulting skills, and emotional intelligence
  • Coach teams in Scrum, Kanban, XP & SAFe frameworks, discerning when modifications to a framework will better serve the goals of the project or health of the team
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience and bachelor's degree OR commensurate experience
  • Deep knowledge of Agile and primary frameworks of Scrum, Kanban, XP and SAFe
  • Deep knowledge of the agile software development and delivery life cycle including product ownership, workflow management, lean, and overall systems thinking
  • Ability to strategize, plan and facilitate effective team events (multi-day project kickoffs, trainings, planning, retrospectives, etc.)
  • Ability to create meaningful forecasts based upon metrics and coach to the value of metrics as a positive aspect of measuring continuous improvement and team progress towards goals
Compensation: This position offers a base salary of $100,000- $160,000. Specifics will vary depending on skills, qualifications, education and geographic location.
