Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Airworthiness Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, Missouri.This position will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to the full range of activities required to support Airworthiness/Flight Certification of various external stores on USAF (United States Air Force)/USN (United States Navy)/Phantom Works/DOD (Department of Defense) aircrafts.Position Responsibilities:- Critical thinking, problem solving, change management, project management, influencing without authority, & consultation
- Ability to communicate concisely in writing, verbally, one-on-one, in small groups, and to large audiences
- Experience managing, developing, motivating and communicating responsibilities to team members
- Maintain situational awareness of the overall program and critical path sequencing
- Proactively communicate with various leadership team/s, peers and customers
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 1+ years of experience military Handbook 516C (MIL-HDBK-516C), or EMAR21J airworthiness
- 5+ years of experience in engineering
- An active U.S. Secret or active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Experience in FAA certification
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet aggressive schedules
- Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
- Experience leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools and processes
- Experience with the operation of aircraft systems and knowledge of aircraft performance in one or more of the following areas: aerodynamics, stability and control, propulsion, structures, and mission systems
- Experience with planning project budgets and monitoring financial performance
