Machine Design / Manufacturing EngineerDIRECT HIREONSITELocation: Grandview, MOCAREER OPPORTUNITY:The Machine Design/Manufacturing Engineer will be both functional and developmental in nature.
Its purpose is to assist in taking an engineering by providing him/her with an introduction to the process of high-speed assembly of plastic sprayers and dispensers, specifically as it relates to the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of automation.
The job shall consist of the application of theoretical concepts acquired through his/her academic work as applied through practical experience and hands on approaches with company technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design of machines and improvements to current machines
Process improvements to the manufacturing process on the production floor
Project management both large and small projects
Assembly and troubleshooting designs.
Product, machine systems Assisting maintenance with equipment problems.
Jig fixture design including QA/QC gauge Sourcing parts, materials and services from internal and external sources.
QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor s Degree in Engineering
5 years related experience and/or training.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Manufacturing cost accounting experience.
Computer literate with experience in MS Office. i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Project 3D modeling in CAD Manufacturing Process implementation Project management PLC programming Pneumatic/hydraulic experience Control systems i.e. sensors, cameras Familiar with lean tools.
