Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an experienced Business Operations Specialist ( Level 3 ) to join our United States Government Services ( USGS ) team. In this role, the focus will be on supporting the On-Time Delivery process and other USGS key initiatives and strategies within the USGS organization. In this capacity, the selected candidate will assist in the development and integration of program plans, operating rhythm, and processes management to successfully implement USGS key focus areas and long-term strategy.This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting . The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.To be successful in this position, the selected candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, have a working knowledge of the U.S. Government customer and systems, have ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives / approaches to assignments, and have a positive and flexible attitude. Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required.Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):Collects, organizes and provides data to maintain program status and customer commitments

Works with the Program Management team to manage and execute the operating rhythm for key focus areas

Performs root cause analysis and works with Program Management leadership on process management requirements / changes.

Investigates issues and miscommunication over several databases and Boeing systems to track down delivery / requirement delinquencies.

Ensures organizational alignment with Boeing processes, Program Management Best Practices, and compliance requirements

Builds relationships with Program Leadership, customer counterparts, and Business Operations peers

Works to resolve corrective actions handed down by our DCMA customer

Participates in meetings and associated events to help define and achieve organizational objectives / data driven solutions

Facilitates the communication and coordination between BGS Business Operations and Program leadership for regular deliverables, briefings, and meetings as required

Monitors project execution of tasks and communicates status in an Agile environment

Manages / identifies risks and opportunities; Develops mitigation plans and business cases.

Facilitates the development and reporting of Project Metrics through dashboards and Business Intelligence principles

Special Projects and ad-hoc tasks assigned as required

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee .Basic Qualifications ( Required Skills / Experience ):Bachelor’s degree or higher

Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills

Experience working with U.S. Government customers

Experience creating and delivering presentations

Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, IBM Cognos and Vortex

Experience working in an Agile environment

Experience working directly with Senior Leaders and/or Executives

Experience developing and/or reporting metrics & KPI’s

Typical Education & Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation :Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
