Position Name: Software Engineer 4Location: Hazelwood, MODuration: 9 Months (Possibility for extension past 9 months) Job Description: Responsibilities Include: Work in Agile team environment to develop, test and deploy software in Microsoft Technology Stack with .Net Core, C# Develop using containerized software with Dockers, Micro-services Design and write S.O.L.I.D clean, scalable code and develop highly scalable APIs and services Perform code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices Develop documentation and design materials, while recommending best design pratices Take responsibility for technical problem solving, creatively meeting product objectives, and developing best practices Set up, maintain and refine CI/CD pipeline (Azure DevOps, OpenShift) Mentor and support developers from source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, deployment based on tools usage, and policies and standards Embrace our culture, with an emphasis on contributing ideas, thoughts, and constructive feedback Coach and mentor junior engineers and take responsibility for meeting commitments Use responsive web design to provide an optimal experience across all devices Create rich, interactive user-experiences with modern technologies with a focus on performance, scalability, security and maintainability SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Top 3-5 Skills needed to perform this role/job:o Experience with at least one modern client side JavaScript framework or library (React, Angular, Vue)o Expertise in distributed computing architectures using service bus, and related technologies (XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, etc.)o Strong Development experience in .Net Core 2.x and higher or ASP.NET MVC, Web Api & Microserviceso DevOps experience building CI/CD pipelines Type of background you are looking for (Education, # yrs experience, etc.):o Bachelor's degree: Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistryo 8+ years of experience Object Oriented Principles and Design Patternso Working knowledge of containerization(Docker, Kubernetes)o DevOps experience building CI/CD pipelineso Experience with microservice architecture and ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice Software skills required:.Net Core, C#, JavaScript framework or library (React, Angular, Vue), DockerRequired Qualifications (Required): Bachelor's degree: Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry Expert knowledge in Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns (CQRS) Experience with at least one modern client side JavaScript framework or library (React, Angular, Vue) DevOps experience building CI/CD pipelines Expertise in distributed computing architectures using service bus, and related technologies (XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, etc.) Strong Development experience in .Net Core 2.x and higher or ASP.NET MVC, Web Api & Microservices Strong knowledge of infrastructure, including networking, server management, and information security, and the ability to provide hands-on support Working knowledge of containerization(Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with microservice architecture and ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice Experience working in an Agile/Scrum-like environment Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in product development in a variety of computing architectures and environments Thorough understanding of software development life cycles, development and technology tools, testing methodologies, and requirements gathering Knowledge of professional software engineering principles and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Desired Qualifications: Knowledge with hardware and network setup is a plus Knowledge of cloud deployment Solid computer science fundamentals Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between Experience with RESTful APIs Experience with test automation Knowledge of Git Experience mentoring junior software engineers Great Communication (Oral/Written) Why work with us - At Net2Source, we believe everyone has an opportunity to lead.
