Job Description

The Global Services Operational Intelligence group is looking for a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst I to join our team. You will be responsible for addressing dashboard/data issues, managing the implementation of new data features, performing raw data pulls, and assisting our stakeholders with analytics requests. This job will require you to become proficient in understanding how our business units leverage data to provide the best support experience possible to our Clients. You will need to have a passion for data and reporting, a keen attention to detail, a desire to learn new technologies and practices, and a drive to build camaraderie with the team. Our group relies heavily on change control practices and scrum to manage our work and keep everyone focused. The primary tools you will be using are: SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, DAX, Excel, JIRA, Github and Sharepoint. We also have excellent growth opportunities into Data Engineering and Data Science using tools such as Python, Databricks, Azure Data Factory. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year of business analytics work experience
    • At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study
Expectations:
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
