Job Description

The Digital Factory is looking for a dedicated and meticulous lead data architect to join our growing team. As the Lead Data Architect, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a fluid, end-to-end vision for data flow through the Digital Factory. This will include setting up, analyzing, and maintaining our database structure within Snowflake. We are looking for an analytical mind, problem solving who can work independently as part of a team. We are looking for someone to guide our organization into the future and utilize the latest technology and information management methodologies to meet our requirements. Other responsibilities of the role include: consulting with clients on complex data strategy projects across financial, clinical, and operational venues, identifying opportunities to deliver client value through analytics and data infrastructure improvement, and leading road mapping for analytics-based initiatives. In addition, this associate will review implementation plans and solution-level architectures to solve business problems and determine alignment with strategy and policy while leading the design and build of advanced data management solutions that provide data acquisition, data quality, data transformation, master data management, and integration of data from disparate sources. Managing cross-functional, highly complex data analytics projects to develop high impact client solutions while developing data models for advanced database structures along with merging new system with existing warehouse structures is also a large part of the work. Lastly, this associate will ideate, develop, and execute actionable reports and dashboards that reflect industry trends, competitive landscape, and client-specific factors.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of total combined higher education and related work experience
    • At least 3 years of data acquisition, data migration and/or other data engineering work experience, including the design, development, implementation and/or support of data models, data architectures, data warehouses and/or databases
    • At least 7 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
      • Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of experience building reports including experience using BI tools such as Power BI and programming languages such as SQL
  • At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Technology - Azure of AWS and data engineering tools like Azure Data factory
  • At least 3 years of experience with Databricks and programming languages Python and SQL along with knowledge of PHP and R
  • At least 3 years of experience with Snowflake Cloud DW

Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to travel up to 100% of the time
