Job Description

As a Network Engineer onsite you will design, support, install and maintain internal network infrastructure and telephony, as well as related technologies and equipment. Your role is to design, support, install, and maintain local area networks, wide area networks, and wireless network components. As well as work on and maintain hardware components, including firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, and access points. Also, troubleshoot network connectivity issues, perform project work to update or replace network equipment, and configure or upgrade network components. Lastly, you will complete assigned incident management tasks.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 4 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)
  • Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Wireless

Expectations
  • Must be willing to reside in Kansas City or live in a virtually approved city
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
