Job Description
As a Network Engineer II onsite you will support and maintain internal network infrastructure, as well as related technologies and equipment. Your role is to support and maintain local area networks and wide area networks. As well as work on and maintain hardware components, including firewalls, load balancers, routers, and switches. Also, troubleshoot network connectivity issues, perform project work, and configure network components. Lastly, you will complete assigned incident management tasks.Qualifications Basic Qualifications- At least 6 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
- At least 1 year of system administration and/or system engineering work experience
- At least 5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Must be willing to relocate and/or reside in Kansas City OR live in a virtually approved city
