Job Description

As a Senior Data Migration Architect, you will play a pivotal data engineer role in the image migration of our federal clients' imaging data. You will be working closely with our clients to ensure on-time delivery but also be responsible for the technical ETL plan and design around the image migration. As the lead technical resource, you will be responsible for the lead build activities and technical support responsibilities including connectivity validation, application deployment, configuration, cyber, and technology upgrades of multiple image projects infrastructures and data analysis/reporting for all aspects of the image migrations. You will also be responsible for providing troubleshooting and issue resolution for image migration extractions and imports. You must be able to clearly communicate issues and be tenacious in finding resolutions. You will be contributing to the migration community documentation and mentoring data migration engineers. Seen as a leader within the team, you will identify and facilitate learning activities for data migration engineers; manage changes to project activities and communicate with impacted associates or clients.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 2 years data acquisition, data migration and/or other data engineering work experience, including the design, development, implementation and/or support of data models, data architectures, data warehouses and/or databases
    • At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineer or related field
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of SQL work experience and proficient in Postgres database
  • At least 7 years of Scripting work experience
  • Successful completion of the Migration Simulation Lab
  • At least 5 years of Millennium work experience
  • At least 5 years of EMR data migration import work experience
  • Proven track record of driving and managing complex projects in an engineering or technical management role
  • Closely work with business in identifying project requirements
  • Proven track record of driving and managing complex projects in an engineering or technical management role
  • In depth and current knowledge of a wide range of Information Technologies, with experience of their integration and configuration
  • Ability to manage a large and varied workload, to prioritize and multi-task
  • Experience in performing complex analysis, consulting, and providing technical recommendations
  • Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with systems integration methods and technologies.
  • Track record of design and delivery of large scale, complex integrated IT solutions.

Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 10% as needed
  • Must reside in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City or live in a virtual approved city
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
