Job Description

As a Senior Technical Solution Leader, in this role you will consult with Cerner's development teams and other internal stakeholders to deliver scalable healthcare solutions. Responsibilities include; planning, managing and supporting SaaS implementations and migrations, developing and managing the overall technical solution roadmap and environment strategy. As a Solution Leader, you will also develop and maintain relationships with other solution stakeholders and manage day-to-day operations and communication by way of participating in weekly operations solution planning and review meetings. You will get the opportunity to direct and support a team of associates responsible for delivering technical aspects of the solutions, as well as overseeing supplier management activities, including contracted service support and budgetary reviews and incident management escalations. We are looking for a professional who can lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and the overall team. Promoting and building a diverse and cohesive team to accomplish objectives is the Cerner way. Success in this role means providing clear expectations to ensure group progress and assist in overcoming roadblocks. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years total combined completed higher education and related work experience, including:
    • At least 2 year of s ystem administration and/or system engineering work experience
    • At least 6 years completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the job
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with New Relic network monitoring
  • Experience in AWS/Cloud support and maintenance
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform
  • Experience with automated infrastructure provisioning (Chef preferred)
  • Experience in full stack management (infrastructure, networking, and operations)
Expectations:
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
