Job Description
Our Applied Analytics team in our Continuous Improvement organization is hiring a Data Analyst I. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, preparing, processing, and interpreting data sets to be consumed for direct insights for our clients. You will access and compile data sets from various sources for both exploratory and pre-defined analyses and ensure completeness, validity, and other pertinent data health measures. Additionally, you will evaluate data for analytical possibilities and pitfalls and transform the data for specific team functions or processes. You may also be expected to explore different data analyses and data visualizations that help push our analytic capabilities forward. You will have regular communication with our stakeholders on data availability, quality, outcomes, and patterns from your analysis. We are looking for motivated candidates that can serve as "analytic translators" that also have experience using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau. Working Environment Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-HybridQualifications Basic Qualifications- At least 5 years total combined completed higher education and related work experience, including:
- At least 1 year of data analytics and/or statistics work experience, including experience in quantitative or statistical analysis, data mining, predictive or statistical modeling, applied programming, data management, data transformation, data visualization and/or quantitative or statistical research
- At least 4 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including;
- Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, CCL
- Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
