Job Description
Cerner is currently hiring a Data Architect to join the Data Foundations & Analytics team. As a Data Architect, you will create and implement a fluid, end-to-end vision for data flow through an organization. In this role, you will develop an organizational data strategy that addresses industry requirements through collaboration with IT teams and management; build an inventory of existing and new data needed to implement the architecture, and identify and evaluate current data management technologies. You will also develop data models for database structures; design, document, construct and deploy database architectures and applications; and implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Additionally, you will monitor, refine and report on the performance of data management systems and merge new systems with existing warehouse structures. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #RemoteQualifications Basic Qualifications- At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 1-year data acquisition, data migration and/or other data engineering work experience, including the design, development, implementation and/or support of data models, data architectures, data warehouses and/or databases
- At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Health Care, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Master's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
