Job Description

As a Data Migration Engineer you will build and test data migrations to support interface design and implementation activities. Be able to design data migration build and complete data uploads. Create data normalization workbooks for clients and oversee completion. Provide knowledge data normalization as it impacts future workflow. You will also provide tier 1 troubleshooting and issue resolution for data migration uploads. Complete data migration testing, as well as manage data migration changes and project activities and communicate with impacted associates and clients. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or relevant degree or equivalent work experience.

• Basic Knowledge of Linux commands, Scripting and DB - MS SQL and Oracle queries.

• Basic knowledge of Healthcare information technology

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of scripting work experience

• At least 1 year of SQL work experience

• At least 1 year of HL7 work experience

• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

• Critical thinking abilities to take complex, ambiguous, abstract project details and break them into smaller components, patterns, views and features.
