Our Identity & Access Management (IAM) AMP Analysts provide system access across applications, directories, and domains granting access for Windows servers and applications across the Federal Reserve System via fulfillment of incoming customer requests. In this role you will consult with business line technical staff, including developers, application owners and database admins to provide access solutions while maintaining information security standards and policies.

  • Consults with business line technical staff, including developers, application owners and database admins to provide access solutions while maintaining information security standards and policies.
  • Consulting routinely consists of explaining information security controls and how to request appropriate access, including developing procedures that follow documented security controls.
  • Maintains the information security posture (rules, controls, security safeguards, etc.) to protect the Bank's information assets.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements procedure/process improvements and enhancements for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interprets and addresses requests and concerns.
  • Develops, maintains, and implements standards, guidelines, and operating policies and procedures.
  • Utilizes standard IT, audit, and security standards and methodologies when provisioning access solutions using the SAFR risk management process.
  • Partners with, and provides consultation to, business areas to understand their business functions for consideration of policies and direction.
  • Performs security incident operations, including after-hours response activities, event escalation coverage, and incident reporting.
  • Contributes to and participates in security incident plan exercises. Identifies, investigates, and escalates information security incidents.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and documents access related services and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to identify and implement improvements for enhanced security and efficiency.
  • Maintains familiarity of Identity and Access Management disciplines and methodologies, such as cloud security provider access management, role-based access control methodology, privileged access management capabilities and solutions, and identity provider provisioning.

Qualifications:
  • Typically requires at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • High school education or GED. Associate's degree specializing in an information technology field from an accredited college or university or technical school, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory required.
  • Information Security industry certification (SSCP, CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CISA, etc.) preferred.
  • Cloud access industry certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) preferred.
  • Windows Server Operating System and Group Policy knowledge preferred. PowerShell scripting knowledge encouraged.
  • SAFR Certification preferred.
  • Incumbent must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless the Bank grants an accommodation based on a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.

This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to a couple of months to be completed. You can begin work before the screening is completed; however, continued employment is contingent on acceptable screening results. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks.
