Job Description
As a Senior Development Project Manager (Senior Agile Program Manager), you will identify risk areas and provide alternate strategies to leadership to address concerns plan, organize and facilitate Agile Ceremonies and practices that maximize collaboration of all agile team members to deliver the initiative, product and release objectives. You will coach and facilitate the effectiveness of development teams by growing their capabilities to plan, organize, manage, and make decisions through interpretation of team execution metrics and agile methodologies, utilize technical development knowledge to overcome development project roadblocks and to contribute to the deployment and adoption of quality software and identify and lead process improvement opportunities at an organization level. You will develop detailed plans and own agile change management of the plans, obtain requirements, evaluate, and clarify objectives, goals, and scope of multiple complex projects and manage interdependencies or dependencies between projects or programs. You will network across organizations to drive initiatives, strategies, issue resolutions, and alignment, create, monitor and provide on-going, objective communication to appropriate stakeholders.Qualifications Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- At least 3 years of Scrum or agile project work experience
- At least 3 years of Development environment work experience
- At least 5 years of Project management work experience
- PMP (or similar project management) certification
- At least 7 years in an agile delivery team role: including acting as Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Certification in PMP, CSM, CPO, Scrum@Scale, SAFe Scaled Agilist, PMI - ACP, Lean
- Jira, JiraAlign, VersionOne and Microsoft Office experience.
- Have the ability to understand and identify with the work of skilled agile coaches
- Have intricate knowledge of the scrum roles, pillars, artifacts, values and events
- A team-based mentality. The success of the team takes priority over individual success. Able to take in multiple points of view, let the team decide the right course of action.
- Must be willing to reside in Kansas City or live in a Virtually approved city
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
