Job Description

As a System Engineer I, you will design, install, monitor and support technology infrastructures across Cerner applications and servers. You will perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades and resource optimization. Your end goal is a system built for optimal integrity, recoverability and availability. We are looking for versatile and innovative individuals with experience in a variety of technologies - including but not limited to Linux, Windows, Networking, Batch Scripting, Automation, Database and Virtualization tools Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

At least 4 years total combined higher education and related work experience including:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- 1 year of relevant work history
Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
