A-1 CAREERS is currently seeking a Mitigation Technician for our client in the Lenexa, KS area.
Job Responsibilities
-Perform water/biological damage assessment, by communicating details such as detailed drawings, moisture mapping, temperature readings, dehumidifier readings, as well as, customer concerns and requests.
-Apply basic knowledge of carpentry to include, but not limited to, tearing out drywall, carpet, flooring, wood work, trim and moldings, doors, removing windows, removing hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets.
-Ability to operate power tools, including but not limited to, table saws, radial arm saws, mitre saws, skills saws, table and hand planers and drills, in a safe and responsible manner.
-Prepare expense reports weekly and submit with all receipts.
-Communicate work order information and results.
-Adhere to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
-Ability to perform 24-hour on-call responsibilities in accordance with established schedules.
-Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Education/Training
High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum
Experience
Prior Carpentry experience required.
Familiarity with all IICRC S500 Standards, obtain and maintain IICRC Certifications (WRT, CCT, ASD)
A background and drug screen will be conducted at time of interview.
