Our client, a well-know law firm located in Independence, Missouri, is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their Class Action team. In this role, you will work with and report to the lead attorney. Position Details:Pay Rate: $23/hrHours: 40 hrs/wkLocation: 50/50 remote and onsiteResponsibilities:Knowledge of the settlement administration process.Communicate with class members and assisting them with the claims process.Review and organize claims submissions.Communicate with plaintiffs and gathering information and documents.Draft and file pleadings and discovery.Organize and label documents for litigation.Qualifications:Two (2) years prior law firm experience, specifically class-action litigation. Excellent oral and written skills. Must be familiar with e-filing in State and Federal Courts.
