Plaintiff's employment law firm with an active caseload and trial docket is expanding its practice and needs an outgoing, hard-working and client-focused attorney for the Kansas City office.

HKM Employment Attorneys LLP (www.hkm.com) is a growing law firm with offices in Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Kansas City, St. Louis, Denver, Pittsburgh and Washington D.C.

The attorney will be handling all aspects of employment litigation practice, including settlement negotiations, drafting of petitions, discovery and motions, along with the handling of trial preparation and trial in both first and second chair positions.

Many of our clients come to us in the midst of some of the toughest moments life can offer, we take great pride in producing top quality legal work for them and we want to hire someone who shares that desire. The person we hire must have a strong work ethic, work with a sense of urgency and show great attention to detail.

Here's what we're looking for:

We will consider candidates with less experience with outstanding academic backgrounds, but would prefer candidates with litigation experience.

Must have good people skills.

Must have a very strong academic background.

Must have very strong research and writing skills.

Must be honest, personable, detail-oriented and able to work independently without the need for constant supervision and guidance.

Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
