Job Description
Our Applied Analytics team in our Continuous Improvement organization is hiring a Data Analyst II. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, preparing, and processing data sets to be consumed for direct insights, statistical modeling, or other analytical exploration for our clients. You will access and compile data sets from various sources for exploratory and pre-defined analyses and audit the data sets for completeness, validity, and other pertinent data health measures. Additionally, you will evaluate the complex data sets for analytical possibilities and pitfalls and transform the data for specific team functions or processes. You may also be expected to conduct basic statistical testing and exploratory data analysis and create basic data visualizations leveraging design and data presentation guides. You will have regular communication with our stakeholders or clients on data availability, quality, outcomes, trends, correlations and patterns from your analysis. If you passionate about continuous improvement and using data to help others, apply today!Qualifications Basic Qualifications- At least 6 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
- 1-year data analytics and/or statistics work experience, including experience in quantitative or statistical analysis, data mining, predictive or statistical modeling, applied programming, data management, data transformation, data visualization and/or quantitative or statistical research
- 5 years of completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
- At least 2 years of experience using analytical tools, Power BI and Tableau
- At least 2 years of experience using SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
