Job Description
Cerner is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Federal Health Network team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will consult on data and modelling impacts, guiding clients through interdependencies and analysis decision impacts. You will execute project deliverables with other data analytics team stakeholders. You will evaluate data sets for analytical possibilities and pitfalls. You will also transform data as appropriate for specific team functions or processes. You will conduct statistical testing and exploratory data analysis. You will create data visualizations leveraging design and data presentation guides. In this role, you will pinpoint trends, correlations, and patterns in complex data sets. You will apply subject matter expertise to complex data analytic challenges. Working Environment Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-HybridQualifications Basic Qualifications:- At least 8 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
- At least 2 years data analytics and/or statistics work experience, including experience in quantitative or statistical analysis, data mining, predictive or statistical modeling, applied programming, data management, data transformation, data visualization and/or quantitative or statistical research
- At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education , including:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Knowledge of key healthcare workflows and venues of care
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City Metropolitan area
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
