- Assist with application development and implementation on one or more computing platforms.
- Provide analysis of potential solutions and develop input for build-or-buy recommendations.
- Develop or maintain program code, based on defined requirements.
- Develop requirements for application interfaces and conversions.
- Assist with defining and executing the system test plans.
- Responsible for all phases of project application development documentation.
- Follow programming and documentation standards, as well as development and project methodology.
- Design, test, deploy, and maintain one or more software products.
- Collaborate with team members to produce software.
- Work with the Architecture Team to make technical recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, any Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years full lifecycle development experience as a Back-end Developer in C# or Java, or Front-end Developer in modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React.js, Aurelia, etc.).
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and creating SQL statements.
- For C# developers, experience with .NET Core is highly preferred.
- For Java developers, experience with one or more facets of the Spring Stack is a plus.
- Experience with SQL Server.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Web Fonts, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems, ArcGIS APIs, and Python.
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS Cloud platforms.
